When asked about the reason for the sale, one of the journalists said, "Gazi is no longer able to run the portal. They are facing financial difficulties. Even Gazi TV's salaries have become uncertain."_x000D_ _x000D_ The journalist also mentioned that the employees themselves wanted the portal to be sold to someone capable if Gazi could no longer manage it, so their salaries could at least be ensured. However, with a hint of disappointment, the journalist said, "Under the leadership of Rehman Mostafiz, Sarabangla will now operate again, and it is set to become Bangladesh's 'Anandabazar'."_x000D_ _x000D_ Gazi Group will continue paying the portal's salaries until August, after which ICC Communication will take ownership starting September 1.
