Shimul is said to be particularly frustrated after losing her long-cherished aspiration to become the Head of News at Somoy TV, and this frustration is reportedly manifesting in her conduct._x000D_ _x000D_ Surprisingly, Rasheda Shimul is among the journalists who allegedly aim to discredit the interim government. It is reported that whenever an advisor gives a statement, Shimul selectively edits and distorts parts of the speech to create news stories that could foster public discontent against the government._x000D_ _x000D_ A recent example cited by multiple staff members occurred on the 1st of the month. During a press conference at Dhaka Medical College addressing an ongoing issue, Advisor Nurjahan Begum stated, "We will identify the culprits by reviewing CCTV footage, and justice will be served." However, Shimul was reportedly determined to omit this portion and instead focus on a statement suggesting, "If there is trouble with the doctors, the country will come to a standstill."_x000D_ _x000D_ This is not the first allegation of this nature against Shimul.
