The pressure to remove the report is increasing in the media of Bangladesh

As the national elections in Bangladesh are approaching, the authorities are increasing the surveillance of the media. And as a result, the amount of news removed from the media has increased one after another. The government or any law-enforcement force cannot tolerate even the smallest corruption news.

One such incident happened with the private television 'Somoy', which is close to the government. Their correspondent, Rashed Bappi, produced an investigative report on the recruitment fraud of Ansar, the Bangladeshi paramilitary force. It is seen in the report that he (Bappi) faced many obstacles while doing this work.

Although his (Bappi) report was published by this private television channel, within a few hours of the broadcast, the 'powerful' time television was forced to remove the news from all platforms under 'pressure' from various agencies.

No one from Somoy Television is saying anything about this. Even when contacted by the reporter, he also refused to say anything. News analysts think that if the news of Ansar's corruption cannot be published now, then the media may have to exclude all corruption news in the coming days.
