Niel, Dhaka: The Awami League is going through the most difficult time during the 15 years of rule-exploitation. While dealing with the various activities of the opposition, they are trying to show the strength of power with the force of the police baton, even if the people are not on their side. The Awami League took away the democratic right to hold meetings long ago.

Awami-Police League and administration have tried to suppress the opposition in various ways, starting from assault cases and attacks.

However, the Awami League, which is facing the biggest crisis in recent memory, is not able to face the opposition on the field due to the US sanctions, but it is showing its political death through its various misdeeds.

The Awami League, which is in fear of losing power, and they are not facing the opposition in the field, is now using the police extensively to harass people. In the name of public safety, searches, phone checks and arrests in absentee cases are happening constantly.

After the disappearances, murders and extra-judicial killings, the ruling party is creating an atmosphere of fear by searching the streets, beating and imprisoning people for no reason.

This ruling party started practising this culture of shutting people's voices long ago. A new dimension has been added to this in a new method by reducing the speed of the Internet, disconnecting the electricity connection and taking away the privacy rights of people in the name of security and misuse of technology including personal mobile!

In the name of practising democracy, and human security, the culture of torture and suffering of citizens has established the state as a kind of monster.

And to get rid of this monster, we need proper application of law, practice of healthy democracy, and return of basic human needs and civil rights of every citizen.

However, it is difficult to understand whether this fascist party, which is trembling with the fear of losing power, will take such steps or not, if it is then it will be good for the country and the nation, but if not, it is easy to imagine that a terrible time is waiting ahead.
